This is me.
I'm Bridget. I was born and raised on the island of New Providence in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. My school years were spent at Chippingham Primary, then Queens College, both in the Bahamas. At the tender age of sixteen, I entered the United World College of The Atlantic in South Wales, UK . It was my first major multicultural, multiethnic, multilingual experience. It was awesome!
My studies continued in Kingston, Jamaica at the Mona Campus of The University of the West Indies. After a first degree I returned to the Bahamas for my first " grown-up" job as a High School Teacher. Four years later I pursued a MSc degree at the Tropical Metabolism Research Unit. After this, in 1991, I took on my second and current job as a college educator.
In August of 1991, in addition to my BSc and MSc, I gained my Mrs. as I married for the first and (so far) the only time!
Three years later I gained my Mom qualifications with the birth of my son, who was joined in 1997 by my daughter.
Since 1991 my professional life has centered around science education. My personal life has focused on faith and family.

My life has been full of unique, wonderful, scary, unbelievable, annoying, sad, happy, puzzling, invigorating experiences! It's been six decades of LIVING! There is soooooo much to tell. So do visit with me and let's relive some of the past, explore the present and journey together into whatever the future holds. I'm excited !
